This laboratory is included, starting from year 2000, in the university course “Techniques of the environmental quality measurement” held at the Environmental Engineering Faculty of the Ecological University in Bucharest. Seven practical works using this laboratory were held. At the end of the practical works each student presented a project about the configuration and design of a real time environmental pollution monitoring.
A number of 100 students have been examined in three sessions. 50% of questions of the final examination require solving real problems of environmental pollution. The students who did not attend all the practical works have obtained grades two times lower than the students who attended all.
Four BS final theses were performed starting from this course and laboratory.
